Lawsuit accuses Disney apps of spying on kids

The Walt Disney Company has been hit with a lawsuit that promises more than 40 of its smartphone apps have been spying on children. The particular suit, which has requested Class Activity status, states that Disney will be violating an online law designed to shield children’s privacy online. Disney’s smart phone apps are very popular; one particular title, “Where’s My Water? 2, inch has been downloaded between 100 million and 500 million times.

According to the lawsuits, Disney apps have trackers installed inside that will allow data such as geographical details, browsing history and other third party information…
